We are a community of faith, sharing our treasure with those in need through our Mission giving. We actively share our time and talents in mission work and service projects. We seek to be a beacon of Christian love through outreach to our community, sharing the message of God’s love and grace, recognizing the many blessings we have received.

Our Mission Grants in 2025 went to eight grant recipients, three of whom were new this year. Our Mission Service and active giving of time and goods last year included:

• Collection, filling and distribution of school backpacks
• Socks and underwear collection month
• Christmas gifts for individuals at Connections for the Homeless
• Monthly preparation of meals at Connections for the Homeless
• Collection, sorting and distribution of clothing for immigrants landing in our community
• Assisted Wilmette Community Nursery School with their Diaper Drive
• Monthly gifts of food and hygiene goods to local Food Banks
• Stocking Community Refrigerators in Evanston

Our Community Outreach efforts continue with our involvement in the New Trier Multi-Faith Alliance, including posting FCCW events in the Alliance’s communications and participation in several events held by other faith communities.
