Katherin Hughes

Katherine Hughes has been a violinist, producer, and contractor for over forty years. Besides her many recordings–including television soundtracks, commercials, and video game music–she has performed with internationally-known artists, and in numerous Broadway orchestras. She plays in a variety of groups, whose music spans many styles. Katherine co-founded the nonprofit Third Coast Music to bring new recording and music education opportunities to Chicagoans. She annually produces a peace-themed concert and art exhibit. Ms. Hughes has decades of experience with church music that began with church choir at the age of six.
