We invite you to participate in the life of First Congregational Church, however and whenever you like. We offer a variety of programs and events throughout the year, along with our ongoing children’s programs, youth programs and Sunday worship. We hope you will feel free to participate at a level at which you are comfortable.

Location

First Congregational Church is located just north of the heart of downtown Wilmette, at the intersection of Lake Street, 11th Street, and Wilmette Avenue.

Entrance

Our main entrance on weekdays is the glass doorway on Wilmette Avenue. As the home of the Wilmette Community Nursery School, we have a secure building during school hours.  There is a buzzer to the left of the door to ring for entrance into the building. On Sundays, three additional entrances are open: the main entrance at the back of the Sanctuary at the intersection of 11th Street, Wilmette Avenue and Lake Street, and our Accessible Elevator/Stair Tower on Wilmette Avenue.

Parking

Street parking is available on Wilmette Avenue, Lake Street and 11th Street. Or public parking is available in the lot just south of the Gates Manor Residence, behind the Depot Nuevo Restaurant.

Inquirers’ Classes are held twice a year to explore life at First Congregational, along with our history and core beliefs. The class is a prerequisite for membership, but all are welcome whether or not they are presently considering membership.
